§ 26-110. Violations; penalty; corporations; partnerships associations.

  • (a)

    A person commits an offense if he violates by commission or omission any provisions of this article that impose upon him a duty or responsibility.

    (b)

    A person who violates a provision of this article shall be subject to the penalties provided in section 1-13 of this Code.

    (c)

    In addition to prohibiting or requiring certain conduct of individuals, it is the intent of this article to hold a corporation, partnership or other association criminally responsible for acts or omission performed by an agent acting in behalf of the corporation, partnership or other association and within the course and scope of his employment.
