§ 98-267. Sewer connection and tap fees.

(a)

Thereby and hereby fixed and established the following fees to be paid to the city for connections or taps to the city sewer system, shall be in accordance with the following schedule and subject to the following regulations:

	Developer/Owner Installed Tap Fees	City Installed Tap Fees Inside City Limits
1. 4-inch sewer tap in a paved section	$225.00	Cost + 15%
2. 4-inch sewer tap in an unpaved section	$225.00	Cost + 15%
3. 6-inch sewer tap in a paved section	$350.00	Cost + 15%
4. 6-inch sewer tap in an unpaved section	$350.00	Cost + 15%
5. 4-foot dia manhole (up to 6-foot depth) for size on size taps in a paved section		Cost + 15%
6. 4-foot dia manhole (up to 6-foot depth) for size on size taps in an unpaved section		Cost + 15%
7. Cost per vertical foot of manhole depth over 6-foot		Cost + 15%

 

(b)

All sewer services larger than six inches will be cost plus 15 percent.

(c)

All services listed above provided outside the city limits shall be at twice the normal charge.

(d)

Payment shall be made in full to the city before any connection or tap is made.
