§ 14-86. Revocation of permit.
The city council shall have authority to revoke and cancel any permit issued hereunder for violation of any of the provisions of this article, or any applicable provisions and regulations of the state or county relating to care homes, or any failure of the care home to continue to comply with other applicable ordinances of the city with respect to building standards, safety, fire prevention, etc. Before revocation, however, a public hearing shall be afforded to the person in whose name any permit is issued, with ten days' prior written notice to the holder of the permit specifying the date and place of hearing and the charges upon which revocation is sought. Any official of the city can call to the attention of the city council the need for such hearing and possible revocation of permit issued hereunder.
