§ 66-30. Police reserve force.

Members of the police reserve force shall be appointed by the chief of police. Reserve officers will be held to the same training and licensing standards as full-time members of the department. Upon appointment by the chief of police, members of the reserve police force must be approved by a simple majority of the city council before acting as a peace officer.
