§ 46-31. Appointed.

There shall be a city library board, which shall exercise advisory supervision over the John Ed Keeter Public Library of Saginaw through cooperation with the library director. The board shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the mayor, subject to approval by the city council. Their terms of office will be concurrent with that of the mayor, and they shall be qualified voters of the city and shall serve without compensation. They shall be subject to removal at anytime by the city council.
