§ 30-97. Disposition.

(a)

Any junked vehicle, including a part of a junked vehicle, taken into the custody of the city pursuant to this article may be removed to a scrapyard, a motor vehicle demolisher, or a suitable site operated by a municipality or county.

(b)

After any junked vehicle has been removed under the authority of this article, it shall not be reconstructed or made operable again.

(c)

No later than the fifth day after the date of the removal of the junked vehicle pursuant to this article, notice must be given to the state department of transportation identifying the vehicle or vehicle part.
