§ 10-323. Definitions.

For the purposes of this article, the following words, terms and phrases shall have the meanings set out herein unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

Industrial storage area means that area not accessible to the general public for parking and located in the rear yard area.

Parking areas in single- and two-family residential districts means the area behind the front property line designated for off-street parking.

Parking lots in commercial, industrial and multifamily districts means the area available to employees and the general public for parking vehicles off public streets.

Parking space means the area which is occupied by a vehicle when parking off a public street and is ten feet wide and 18 feet long as measured from the inside of the identifying stripes.

Service floor area means the area that is accessible to the general public.
