§ 10-31. Adoption.

  • That certain document, one copy of which is on file and is open for inspection by the public in the office of the city secretary, being marked and designated as Uniform Administrative Code, 1988 edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, be and is hereby adopted as the code of the city for providing the administrative, organizational and enforcement rules and regulations for the technical codes which regulate the site preparation, construction, alteration, moving, demolition, repair, erection, enlargement, removal, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings, structures and building service equipment within the city subject to the deletion of chapter 3, section 301(b)(1)C, and amending K to read: prefabricated pools accessory to any occupancy in which the pool walls are not capable of retaining water over 24 inches in depth; and adding L to read: roofing overlays on roofs where there is not more than two existing layers. This is for roofing work which does not involve tearing off existing roofing to the deck or when roof decking is being replaced; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of such Uniform Administrative Code, 1988 edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, on file in the office of the city, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this section.
